1978 Carpenter Short Bus

Rare Carpenter Short Bus. It’s a gutted and all aluminum body on a Chevy p-30 chassis. Very light! The bed is insulated and basically soundproof with dynamat. The motor is totally built! .30 over all aluminum minus the block.

Full roller rocker set up (not flat tappet). Aluminum ported/polished heads, aluminum team g intake, edllbrock carb, hei distributor with advanced timing, Lunati bootlegger cam. Headers into a true duel 12ft H pipe exhaust. 6 brand brew 10 ply e rated mud tires, turbo 400 trans with a 14 bolt rear w/ 4:56 posi 3 core aluminum radiator as well. It’s a hot rod 💯 if you change the cam to a rv cam you could tow 12-15000 easy. It’s got the rear bumper reinforced with angle iron and a 2 inch slider reciever hitch.

I dont need to sell this but my wife says I have too many projects, that being said, my goals for the build is to change the suspension to 4×4 add a 2″ lift and create a really nice 12 person 4×4 offroad tourbus for the Sedona / Grand Canyon area.
