1985 International Bus Converted to Thrift Store
Mileage is not known at the moment but will add it.
There is a bit of a story behind this bus. It was converted into a mobile thrift store by a church/ministry in Atlanta that was working with refugee families. They had some organizational changes and stopped utilizing the bus.
About a year later they called us to see if we could use it with the migrant work we are doing in Chicago and at the time we thought so. So it was shipped to us. With the shifting of how the city is working with migrants we ended up not utilizing it all.
We had it serviced, it runs, but it is older and needs someone to better care for her and actually use her more regularly. You can see it was converted and has no bus seats. It has a laminate floor and shelving built out in it.
Their is a fold down staircase in the back in essence allowing people to walk up into the bus form the back, shop and exit through the front door. Anyway, we would love to see this go to a new home and turn the income from the sale back into our charitable purposes.
