1993 Chevrolet Mighty Mite 23' Skoolie, Almost Finished!

RARE 1993 Chevrolet Mighty Mite for sale! Standard school busses are 6’0″ but this hybrid model has a roof raise and goes to 6’4″ in the center. The bus is 23′ long. Currently registered and insured as a motorhome through April, 2025, and it just got a brand-new coat of paint!

Mechanics: 6.5 Detroit Diesel engine with only 60k miles! It starts on the first turn even after sitting a few weeks, and I had my diesel mechanic put in new brakes, a new kingpin, and new gauges. The tires are practically brand new, including the spare. I could drive it from Houston to Detroit tonight if I needed to.

No rust, well-cared for 23′ daycare bus out of Spartanburg, NC. I flew out from Texas to buy her! (Haha, can you tell that I’m still in love with this bus?) I’ve got all the maintenance records for those years as well, from the previous owner.

42 gallon freshwater tank and 40 gallon grey water tank on board and plumbed. 6 gallon water heater as well that feeds into a huge shower and the kitchen across the hall.

Electric is installed and run through the Victron/Battleborn solar power system with 1400 watts of flat solar panels on the roof that feed into 400ah of lithium ion Battleborn batteries. 3000W Inverter. It’s the best system you can buy.

The kitchen cabinet/pantry was custom built by a cabinetmaker friend of mine. It’s the fanciest thing in the bus! The sink is super deep. You could hide dishes for four in there and not see anything from the couch!

Everything I bought for this build is top of the line as I was planning to move to the Pacific Northwest and go off-grid/boondock in this rig, but life had other plans for me and I can’t store it at my new place or I would keep it.
