2003 International 3800 Skoolie Conversion

Up for sale is our beloved Beatrice the Bus.  She was a great adventure, but unfortunately, it is time for us to sell her.

She’s a 2003 International 3800 school bus, that has been full converted to a tiny home on wheels.  We lived in Beatrice for around 2.5 years, but are now not able to travel full time, so she is now parked at our local storage station.  We do not want to let her go, but do not want to let her sit and rot in a storage yard either.  Beatrice is ready for her next adventure.

Main thing she will need is a paint job.  After around 6 years, the paint is now starting to fade and chip; but would be a perfect time for you to change it to whatever color you want, to make her yours!

She is fully off grid with 1 kilowatt of solar, and 660 amp hour batteries. The only thing we were not able to run off solar was our mini-split AC unit, which we always ran when hooked up to shore power.

She has a Nature’s head composting toilet, 100 gallon fresh water tank, and 80 gallons of grey water.  The stove has been converted to LP, and the refrigerator is apartment sized and is electric.

The couch and dinette both convert to beds, and offer a ton of space under them for extra storage.  You can heat with the mini-split, or a diesel heater (what we primarily used).

3 under body storage boxes were added which offers so much room.  We used 1 for tools, 1 for our generator and fuel supplies, and the 3rd for leveling block, hoses, etc.  She is also equipped with manual leveling jacks which help with stabilization when parked.

We changed oil regularly, had 4 of the 6 tires changed while traveling, and installed new glow plugs the winter before we parked her.  We never had any issues mechanically with her, she always ran great.
