1996 GMC Vandura 33,000 Miles! (Gutted)

This bus’s biggest selling point is its exceptionally low mileage. The interior has been fully gutted, making it a great blank canvas for a conversion. I do still have the original seats if the buyer would like them. I’ve also removed the rubber flooring to inspect the plywood subfloor underneath.

Mechanically, the bus drives great and has a clean title (currently registered as a van). There is a small rattle when accelerating at higher RPMs—mainly noticeable when going uphill or accelerating quickly. I’ve had multiple mechanics look at it, and all have confirmed it’s safe to drive and not a concern. It hasn’t affected performance, and I’ve been driving it this way for years without issue. Belts and tubes have been replaced, as well as a belt tensioner. There was a battery leak issue that has since been fixed. I have left the switch there as a theft deterrent, though it is easily removed if desired (see battery photo).

Overall, this is a solid, well-documented bus with low mileage and a great foundation for whatever you have in mind!
