”Unicorn” 2002 International T444E Skoolie – 106k Miles – 12ft Custom Buildout – Rebuilt Trans – 2′ Roof Raise

Description: This 2002 International 3800 (Blue Bird body) is a high-end skoolie project with the first 12 feet fully built out as a stylish turn-key tiny home. Powered by the long lasting T444E engine with only 106k miles, this bus is just getting started. The back 28′ is open and can be built out to your desire or used to transport cargo.

Mechanical & Structural Upgrades:

• Engine: Navistar T444E V8 Turbo Diesel (Excellent condition, low miles).

• Transmission: Allison AT545 professionally rebuilt in 2022 (<1,000 miles since).

• 2ft Roof Raise: 24-inch raise for a total interior height of approx. 8ft. Posts are 2×2″ 1/8″ square pipe, both welded and bolted for maximum structural safety.

• Solar-Ready: Custom heavy-duty roof rack holding eight 200w panels. Additional 8’ of roof supports installed which could be used for more solar or to easily add a roof deck.

• The Interior (First 12 Feet): The front of the bus is a finished, livable sanctuary featuring a farm-house sink & butcherblock countertop, fridge, shower, and full size bed which extends to a Double. 30 Gal fresh and greywater tanks.

• Flexible Rear End (Back 28 Feet): The Back of the bus is unfinished, and currently used for storage, but could be built out to your dream design or used for any utility (workshop, toy hauler, kitchen, sauna, etc.)
• Rear Utility Lift: Battery-operated ramp for motorcycles, bikes, or heavy gear going into back door.

• Side Door: Added for entry to back space.

Status: Currently making finishing touches to get it ready to hand off, but getting it up here first so folks can start to see it. Clean Title. Bus has only been moved a handful of times in the last 3 years, however I am working with a diesel mechanic to refresh the engine properly, and will provide a diesel bus mechanics letter of approval of quality of engine.
