We built this bus for our family to live in full-time, so everything was designed to feel like a real home—not a camper. It’s comfortable, functional, and ready for someone to step into and use right away.

This Bluebird is powered by a 5.9L Cummins diesel engine, known for its reliability and longevity. With only 135,000 original miles, it still has a long life ahead.

It’s a pre-emissions mechanical engine (no DEF or complicated electronics), which makes it simpler to maintain and easier to work on if needed.

This bus was built to be fully off-grid and self-sufficient:

• 3,000 watts of solar panels, solar system is top of the line Victron which is a 24 volt system. 
• Dual lithium (LiFePO4) batteries
• 200 gallon fresh water tank
• Reverse osmosis filtration system for drinking water

There is also an option to plug in to the grid, with 30 amp.

We were able to stay off-grid comfortably without worrying about power or water.

Designed with a family in mind, this bus comfortably sleeps 4, along with the option of the couches being converted into a guest bed that could sleep 2.

In the bedroom:

• Private rear queen bed
• Two built-in twin bunks
• Dual couches that convert into a full bed

In the kitchen:

• Full-size household refrigerator
• Propane-powered RV stove and oven combo
• Butcher block countertops

Under the kitchen sink is also a Suburban tankless hot water heater.

There is also a full pantry with spice racks on the outside, along with plenty of storage for food—something we really appreciated while living in it full-time.

Climate control:

• Two mini split systems (front and rear)

This made a big difference in keeping the space comfortable, even during warmer weather.

• Diesel heater for the cold season, a single one up front kept the entire bus warm during winter here in VA

In the bathroom:

• Full-size tub/shower combo (which is hard to find in most builds)
• Kohree 6.3-gallon sanitation system with odor-lock valve
