๐งRecent maintenance performed in 2024:
-Two brand new car batteries
-New rear brakes + fresh brake fluid
-Oil change + new engine air filter (35 miles ago)
-Transmission fluid changed (Dexron-III)
-Fuel tank flush with SeaFoam
-New fuses in fuse panel
-Freshly greased wheel fittings and back door hinges
-New 20โณ windshield wiper blades
-New side marker lights, headlights, and brake lights
โ ๏ธKnown issues:
-Front windshield has cracks (can replace before purchase if needed)
-The AT545 only has a GVWR of 30,000lbs, so the transmission tends to overheat going up large hills. If this matters to you, you can install a heavy duty oil cooler (~$200) or do a transmission swap to something like the AT643.
-One of the six running lights is not working (electrical issue not yet diagnosed)
-The front steps have rust and will need welding eventually
-The front brakes and brake-line have some rust. Fine for the short term but should consider changing down the line, especially for any planned long distance travel.
-Cold starting (< 35ยฐF) can be tricky (typical for an old diesel); Block heater fixes this, but glow plug/relay replacement may help.
-The bedroom is partially unfinished (needs wall paneling)
-The kitchen sink faucet will need replaced

The bus is not perfect and by no means a luxury motorhome. This would be best for someone who is looking forward to customizing and making their own improvements.
