I bought this bus in 2021.  Before buying it the Transmission was replaced and only had 200 miles on it.  The motor was rebuilt and so was the rear end.  The Drive Line was new and so was the the Drive Shaft.  

Once it was in my possession I replaced all of the Brake Airlines and Fittings.  I replaced 3 out of 6 tires.  Tore out the carpet and laid down Vinyl Laminate Flooring.  I stripped the old paint job which was blue and repainted it all black.  The top of the bus was very tattered so I pressure washed and stripped off the white paint and re-sealed the whole roof with Henry’s Tropicool (White Silicone Base).  I also replaced the hitch on the back with a new one that was more heavy duty to tow my car hauler trailer with my vehicle on top of it.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The original owner and engineer who converted this bus has all of the documented schematics in a file with the layout of the vehicle, the housing, plumbing, and electrical components so there are no mysteries which is quite nice.

The original owner also used to take it to Mexico and camp out in the desert with it.  I believe there were solar panels at one point as well.  There is a Kubota Generator (Worth $10 Grand) in the back that has to be serviced to use since I haven’t had any extensive trips to need it yet.  I was told that He used to sometimes need to use the generator to jump the bus after camping out for so long without starting it back up.  He was able to also use the inverter to do this switching from housing batteries to vehicle batteries.  The bus also only goes 65 miles per hour because there is a governor, which keeps it safer on trips.

TRAVEL HISTORY:

The original owner used to travel all over the U.S. and Mexico with it from 85’ through the early 2000’s in the winter time living as a snowbird.  It was parked after he passed away in his son’s yard in 2012.  It sat for 9 years until I bought it with so much of the key components rebuilt or replaced and I set out on my first trip in 2022.  I have only taken a few trips with the bus since I’ve owned it.  In 2022 I took it from Geneva, New York to Marshall, Arkansas to work on it at my parent’s house.  In 2023 I took it back from Marshall, Arkansas to Bath, New York and lived in it all Spring/Summer/Fall at a KOA Campground.  In Fall/Winter of 2023 I took it south from Bath, New York to Boonville, North Carolina to stay at Hollyridge Campground for a couple of months.  In January of 2024 I drove it from Boonville, North Carolina back to Marshall, Arkansas and kept it parked in my parent’s driveway for a year while I did some traveling in the car.  Then finally in February of 2025 I drove it from Marshall, AR (with all of my belongings in tow) to make a final move here in King, North Carolina.  I have not driven it since and that would leave the amount of mileage that I’ve put on it since buying it in 2021 at less than 4,000 miles traveled in total.  That means that since the engine was rebuilt and the transmission was replaced before I bought it that it has had less than 4,000 miles put on it.  It’s in stellar condition!
