2004 Thomas Freightliner Skoolie

This is a 2004 Thomas Freightliner Skoolie, fully converted and titled as an RV. It has a MBE 906 engine (900 series).

This bus can be completely off grid with 1110 watts solar, as well as a 3500 watt generator with remote start. It can also be plugged into 30 amp shore power. 130 gallons fresh water and 45 gallon grey tank.

I have made tambour shades that slide up into the ceiling for each of the 14 passenger windows which give privacy as well as excellent insulation. The ceiling and sides all have industrial spray foam insulation, professionally applied). There are soft shades for windshield area and door.

The passenger seat swivels and pulls forward to sit parallel with the driver, and swivels back into the living room for additional seating.

-2 20lb LP tanks (mounted in cage underside).

-1 3500 watt generator in cage with cover,   (generator can be started from inside bus with remote start).

-45 gallon gray tank (storage compartment for    gray water hoses right next to cleanout)

-Screens on all windows as well a retractable   screen for front door.

-2 14″  Maxx Air fans and rooftop A/C with  softstart.

-Professionally applied industrial grade spray  foam insulation in the walls and ceiling with 1 1/2″ closed cell panels insulting the floor.

-TV (folds up and down out of ceiling).

-Dining table that folds down with 2 dining chairs.

-Love seat dual recliner

-Deep kitchen sink.

– 3 burner gas stove

-Microwave

-Toaster oven

-12 volt refrigerator/freezer

-Slide out pantry and lots of drawers for   kitchen storage.

-2 twin beds (each underbed has 65 gallon  fresh water tank with additional storage).

– Large cabinets above both beds.

-Nice sized shower with on demand water heater (water heater services kitchen too)

-Composting toilet.

-Bathroom sink and small vanity. Small closet  and dirty clothes hamper.

-Victron battery monitor

-Epoch lithium battery 460 amp hours,  12.8 V (Bluetooth capable).

This a well done, beautiful bus. We have really enjoyed it.  We have purchased a small condo and are not traveling as much as we used to, we just don’t want to see this sitting. It runs great.
