1997 International carpenter 3800 bus
Hey everyone!
Me and my partner were planning to build a bus conversion, but job opportunities arose and now we have moved in a different direction. We spent a lot of time planning and making sure everything we bought was in great shape, and the only things we have currently are the bus plus the inverter/battery charge controller system.
The bus is a 1997 3800 6 window bus. The body is made by crown. I am a welder, and one of the first things we did to it just because how easy it was, was to attach a hitch receiver. Majority of the seats have been removed, but there are a few left. Mileage is 88,070 and starts and runs smoother than any other diesel l’ve driven. It’s towed my jeep flawlessly on test drives, and bear in mind that is up and down Appalachian mountains. You can engine brake quite well to the point you don’t need to use your brakes. Tires have full tread and are still super soft, all 6 of them. No leaks or anything of the sort. I have checked up and down the entire vehicle, the is ZERO rust anywhere.
For extra I can throw in the magnum energy inverter/ charger/solar cords.
Asking price for the bus is $10,000, and with the inverter $12,500. If someone wants to purchase the inverter separately let me know. We are located in North Carolina.
