We are selling our 2000 Bluebird TC2000 skoolie called A Bus Called Babe (@a_bus_called_babe on Instagram).
We converted the bus in 2017 for a 4 month road trip across the US. Purchased with 89K miles, we added an additional 19k as we traveled without experiencing any major problems.
The bus runs on a Cummins 5.9L Turbo-Diesel engine and an automatic Alison transmission.
We slept 3 people but built 4 bunk beds located in the back of the bus. Each bed is a twin-sized memory foam mattress. Under each bed is storage space which we used for clothes and camping gear. There are also two “closets” next to the sleeping area.
The bus is outfitted with water, electricity, and gas.
Water is supplied by a 30-gallon clean water tank. We have a tankless hot water heater that heats the water in seconds. We used water for our sink, toilet, and shower. These drain to separate black and grey water tanks (20 gallon each).
Gas is supplied via 2 propane tanks located under the bus. Gas was used for the stove and to power the refrigerator when not using battery power.
Electricity is powered by two batteries that are charged when the bus is powered on, or when plugged into a power source. I’m not positive about the electric systems that are used but will definitely be able to answer any questions once I confirm with my friends.
Towards the front of the bus, we built a social area including a 4-person couch, a very comfortable chair, and two benches around a wooden kitchen table.
We are selling the bus as is and will be happy to answer any questions about projects or improvements.
Asking $18,000, but am open to negotiations.
