My wife and I purchased the school bus in 2018 in DFW and drove it back to Colorado to start the rebuild. We’ve gutted the inside to bare metal in all places and have re-laid the subfloor along with foam and rigid insulation to cut down on road noise and temp control. There is also a bed structure that has build along with an under-bed metal dresser. One hatch kitchen set has been constructed with a lip to add the middle piece for a couch/double chair setup. Also in the side wall of the dinning area / couch are studs to mount the kitchen table mounts. 2 new batteries have been put in as of March 2021.
This bus build has been an amazing process but unfortunately my free time lately is very limited and this bus should be enjoyed rather than the few hours a weekend I have to do the carpentry work.
She’s priced to sell, and with the materials included you could be camping this Summer!
