Why sit still when you can roam the Earth and learn the stories of the road? That is what this beautiful 1999 AmTran Diesel skoolie is screaming. GET UP AND GO! This listing is a perfect investment into the nomad life. With 24 windows on each side and painted turquoise this fully converted school bus is prepped for a life off-grid and one with shore power. The basics of the bus remain factory including the bi-fold entry door. Walking through reveals an incredibly cozy home with everything you could want/need on the open road. The first space inside is the “office” and living room. On one side of the bus is a custom, fold-out couch while across from it is a workstation perfect for a laptop and possibly a 2nd monitor. There is room across from the sofa to hang a flat-screen TV on a swivel mount as well.Moving along is the small kitchen that makes up in storage what it may lack in size. There is, however, a countertop made to look like marble, an ‘L-shaped base cabinet’, a corner bar sink, open shelving above the countertop, a 2-burner cooktop, a small pantry, and a vintage-looking turquoise fridge. It is very functional and filled with space for food storage.Just past the kitchen is a large wood stove that provides more than enough heat for the bus followed by the bathroom. In the bathroom shower still (with bench), a single vanity, and a compost toilet.Situated in the rear of the bus is the bedroom. With room for a queen bid it features a bed platform with under-bed storage. There is also a built-in corner storage area and the emergency door still operates for emergency purposes and entry/exit (with a set of stairs!)The walls inside the skoolie are mostly covered with white beadboard although there are areas of peel ‘n stick tile. The backsplash for the kitchen is a faux brick paneling. The flooring is high-impact, pet-friendly, LVP and really compliments the BoHo style of the bus.
As for power, the tiny home has a 30-amp system with AC outlets throughout. The solar system is powered by two NewPowa 200-watt solar panels mounted on the roof. Those feed three 12V 100amp Wieze pure cell deep cycle batteries all controlled by a Renogy 12V charge controller, a Renogy 2000W InverterRenogy 40A DC-DC battery charger, and a VictronConnect Smart Shunt 500A for battery monitoring and usage history.
As for water, there are two 30-gallon fresh water tanks on board and a 15-gallon grey water tank below the bus.
