2003 bluebird with 240k
Cat 7 forward motor with Alison transmission. No leaks, no mechanical issues. We have driven her 5000 miles. Avg fuel consumption is 8.75 miles per gallon of diesel. 2 new steer tires. Rears need to be changed soon. Exterior is primed only.
Interior is fully insulated: 1 inch floor with 3/4 inch maple ply floor.
Walls and ceiling 1.5 inch insulation with 1/4 inch maple ply panel.
4 total bed spaces: 1 queen bed with full bunk above. 2 twins bunk style.
Kitchen: double sink, campchef double burner stove with artesian bread oven. 3 counter tops all with storage below.
Large built in cooler with shelving, accommodates 3-4 1 gallon frozen water bottles for cooling or ice blocks. There in a small freezer on board to rotate the frozen bottles.
Bathroom: bucket style compost toilet with urine diverted to 5 gallon easy remove container. Trough style bathtub/shower.
Seating area at the front of the bus.
Solar and water systems designed for boondocking. 720 watts solar feed to 300 Ah renology agm bank. Inverter (4000/8000) handles our blend tech or any power tool I’ve needed to use. There is a 30amp charger if you need to infuse power by generator or from a grid power system.

A very simple passive solar water heating system is on the roof made with black hose. It provides as long as it is reasonably warm approximately 3 gallons of warm to even very hot water in about an hour with sun exposure.
We use a portable swamp cooler when it’s hot.
There is a 3kw diesel heater installed and tied direct to the bus fuel source. It provides ample warmth even when Temps are in the 20’s
There are a number of 120v outlets as well as USB 12v outlets. All lighting and water pumps and heater are wired direct to the 12v system.

There is a crows nest deck on the roof at the rear. Excellent storage space and chill lounge.

The bus has served our familiy of 5 well.
