2004 Ford E450 Partial Shuttle Bus Conversion

This is a 2004 Ford E450 that is being converted to a tiny home on wheels. It was previously used as a transit bus for the city of Des Moines and has 259K miles on it. This vehicle was well maintained – it runs fine and has no major mechanical issues, it doesn’t burn oil, the transmission is in good working order and it has no leaks of any kind.

I’ve put a LOT of time and money into this project (easily over $9000 and 200 hours labor), mostly due to discovering that the sides were delaminated and the vertical supports were largely rusted through. As you can see in a couple of the photos, I’ve replaced all the body frame supports and including the base support framing and replaced the outer skin with 1/4″ marine grade plywood.

I’ve simply run out of time as I’m retiring and moving out of state in August, so I’m sacrificing this for $3750 or best offer (best offer by July 31st will take it ;?).
