The Ichetucknee Springs Campground rests along SW Breckenridge Lane and across SW Elim Church Rd from Ichetucknee Springs State Park.

Within walking distance from the Blue Hole Spring trail, which takes hikers to the gorgeous natural spring where folks can enjoy a swim. There is also the Ichetucknee Springs, famous for its crystal clear turquoise water and serene atmosphere.

The Ichetucknee Springs Campground is a small-sized tent and RV campground with twenty-one RV sites. All of their RV spots have full hookup capabilities, including water, sewage, and electricity. Keep in mind that they offer only 30-amps of electricity at their RV sites. Most of their RV sites are back-in style atop gravel RV pads.

What do visitors say?

This park is a fantastic destination for families with children. Their game room is rife with arcade games, family activities, and a cozy fireplace.

Additionally, the grounds are crawling with friendly animals. They have three pigs, five goats, one donkey, five dogs, and thirteen cats on site! This park is also the closest to the Ichetucknee Springs State park, which makes it ideal for those planning to spend ample time there.

The Travelers Campground is located a few miles northwest of Alachua and north of the intersection of Highway 441 and Interstate 75.

The town of Alachua is filled with worthy day trips and activities. For travelers with children, the Alachua Spray Park makes for a great excursion on hot days. There is also the Dudley Farm Historic State Park just outside town, where visitors can learn about Floridian homestead farm life from the 1850s.

This is another park that houses numerous animals onsite. Guests can expect to see an emu, horses, donkeys, sheep, and several friendly goats around the park. Many who stay here are quite fond of the animals and report that this destination is also very dog friendly.

There are some issues with the bathrooms being old, but aside from that, the park remains clean, and the staff is very friendly.
