Working remotely just got better! This skoolie was designed to create the perfect work/life balance. Making your transition into the skoolie lifestyle will be an ease with the workstations and creature comforts of home along with the luxuries of a coach.

Heading to the beach or hitting the slopes? Our custom skoolie is ready for your next adventure. Forget about having to get out and chain up to hit the mountain, with the flip of a switch, automatic snow tire chains can be deployed to get you to the mountains. Open up the windows/doors by the beach and let the breeze flow through. This skoolie was built with the intention to get out and stay out.

The skoolie is 20’ long, bumper to bumper, so fitting in a normal parking spot is not an issue. It makes parking much more convenient when traveling, working, navigating national parks, parking at the beach, boondocking, etc.

All four corners of the country were visited in 2020 so this skoolie has been road-tested and is ready to create memories for you.

  • 3 Battle Barn 100AH lithium batteries (12v)

We each work full time jobs from the bus so having reliable power is critical. Our inverter is on everyday for about 10 hours each day while we are working and using monitors, voip phones, laptops, etc. Using the solar off grid, it supports our AC window unit on sunny days to keep the bus cool.

The Battle Born Batteries are configured to charge three different ways – solar, alternator, or shore power. The transfer switch is set up to detect shore power first then it switches to Battle Borns if no shore power is present.

The bus has a fully integrated alarm system for your personal protection. This is a monitored system that can be transferred to the next owner. We have AC and DC outlets by the bed for convenience along with switches for the lights near the bed for reading at night. The wiring harnesses are located in the overhead storage cabinets so wiring is easily accessible.

Internet

  • LB2120 Netgear modem
  • Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router
  • Ethernet ports in the bus with an ethernet cable wired to the desks
  • Wilson Amplifiers modem antenna extensions

Both of our jobs require us to be online so having a solid internet connection is necessary. We use all Netgear products. The LB2120 uses cellular data from a sim card and is compatible with all carriers. We have ethernet cables located at the desk for easy use if needed. The modem also has dual signal boosters.
