For those of you who have done any amount of research and bus hunting knows that this engine and transmission are hard to find. Previously used in a Florida school district and purchased from BGA Bus Sales, this beautiful diamond in the rough has been lovingly worked on with the intention of living in her full time while traveling the country. Unfortunately a death in the family and an ill mother have required us to shift our future from one of traveling to one of caretaking. Now we’re looking for someone who is willing to keep the dream alive for this wonderfully stout and reliable bus. Please know that all of the work listed below has been done with the intention of living in this bus full time and therefore has been completed with the greatest of care. So far we have:

• • Fully gutted the bus including all insulation
  • The front and back heaters have been removed and the coolant line rerouted
  • All school bus stickers, lights, and signs have been removed 
  • All screw and bolt holes in the floor, sides and roof of the bus have been filled with JB Weld 
  • There was some internal floor rust that was caused by a couple of leaky windows however all rust has been mitigated and repaired using FDC Rust Converter (a professional grade rust repair) and sealed with Rustoleum High Performance Protective Enamel. Any areas in the bus where it looked like the metal had the potential of becoming corrosive were cut out and the metal replaced with 16g steel 

• There is no external rust on this bus

• All non-essential electrical components and wires were removed and the fuse box reorganized and tidied up
• All side indicator lights and marker lights have been replaced 
• The door has been fabricated and rebuilt into a more appropriate skoolie door with a deadbolt lock
• Two MaxAir All Weather Fans have been installed
• All seams on the roof have been tapped over with Eterna Bond tape and the entire roof painted with three coats of Henry’s Tropicool
• All bus windows were removed and replaced with 16 gauge steel that was primed using Rustoleum Latex Primer and fastened with nearly 800 rivets
• 4 large emergency exit RV windows and two smaller RV windows have been installed.
• Sta-Bil Diesel Fuel Stabilizer has been added to the fuel tank

This bus will be sold with:

• 900 sq.ft of Havlock Wool Insulation
• A 27”x27” skylight that was intended for the bedroom at the back of the bus
• 4 Gallons of Rustoleum Farm & Implement Paint (White)
• 17 sheets of 5/16 plywood 
• A full set of tire covers

This bus is ready to be built out and made your own.  She has a ton of life in her and will undoubtedly be a solid bus who will take you wherever you want to go.
