We are selling our skoolie …
We bought it in Washington state 3 years ago. It was a spare school bus that why there is low mileage for a 1993 bus. (109,000 miles)
We insulated the floor, the side panels, and the ceiling.
The front part of the bus has a big wood stove, a desk with a foldable top to save space when it’s not in use, a sofa that can convert into a 2 person bed with storage underneath.
We designed a large kitchen with an oven range, washing machine, and fridge. The bathroom has a half oak barrel with an epoxy lining and a propane instant water heater.
The kitchen sink and the shower are powered but a propane instant water heater
The bed is almost at windows level so there is large storage underneath with a 50gal water storage.
We lived it for 3 months in Washington state and we drove it to Alaska where we lived in it for 7 months.
I was in process of upgrading the electricity and redoing few details mostly cosmetic, the compost toilet and power outlets.
But life took over! We have a son and want another kid we don’t have time to travel and use the skoolie as it should be used… it’s time for us to let it go to another owner who’s gonna take care of it and put some miles on it and showing her some new scenery!
