1996 Bluebird with Cummins 5.9 p-pump rear engine

Reliable cummins 5.9 12 valve p-pump engine! Only 167k miles. Engine alone is worth at least 6K. No rust!

Brakes, tires, suspension, engine components all in great condition with recent upgrades. Air brakes and air ride seat, easy and smooth to drive. Rear engine, Alison MT643 transmission. Recent maintenance and all fluid changes done.

Drove the 395 from Oregon to Joshua Tree in November while towing with no issues averaging 11mpg. Tow hitch professionally installed by OCD fabrication in Bend, OR. Brand new batteries as of March 29, 2025 35′ bumper to bumper, 31′ from top of stairs to back of bus.

Rear wheel arches are 7′ from the back of the bus. 6’2″ interior height. Unique layout with 3 working doors! Traction tires on the back with lots of life left on all 6 tires. Brakes are practically new with 30/30 canisters on the rear and 20 cans up front. Haldex brake adjusters Bud nut wheels and hubs Drive line break Suspension serviced recently with upgraded components including monroe heavy duty shocks Electric wipers Brake shoes are in excellent shape

-Demo is complete: all seats, metal walls and ceiling panels have been removed -Excess bus electrical wiring has been removed

-Floor coated with Chassis Saver, 1″ fomular insulation and Advanctech subfloor installed

-Some windows deleted and remaining windows meticulously cleaned and resealed using Butyl tape and sika flex 291

-Two under mount storage boxes installed on drivers size

-Trailer hitch professionally installed for towing or mounting bikes

-locks installed on all doors with keypad entry to main door

-Main door converted to swing style

-Framing installed according to Chuck Cassidy’s videos/instructions

-A lot of electrical is already run but not too late to change it to suit your needs!

-Flashers, stop arm, and decals removed to make it legal Could easily add a roll out front bumper tray for a generator Comes with some extras, a stock tank tub, PEX, wiring, fluids
