1999 GMC Thomas Schoolie Partially Completed
Due to failing health, I am unable to finish this bus and enjoy as I had planned. As pictures indicate, most of the hard stuff is done…Seats ripped out, subfloor put in, insulated the sides, installed water intake. It comes with the 25 gal fresh water tank yet to be installed. Also, the Energizer generator which I used when I had no power to work on the bus. Also, I have a welder that I never took out of the box which would be included. The motor has only 56K which is amazing. I purchased this bus in southern Delaware. It was used as a school bus for a private school in Owning Mills, Md. I had the air conditioning fixed and it has four matching Firestone tires with lots of tread. I drive it a few times a week to make sure it runs like a top. No problems. The reason I purchased this bus is because no matter where you are in the country, you can always find someone to work on a GM motor and you can always get parts cheap. This bus is not a dually, so it can be towed by AAA if needed. I started too late in life to get the nomad fever; my health won’t allow me to enjoy this life to its fullest.
