2009 International 28' Skoolie - Off Grid Ready

Introducing the ultimate adventure vehicle for two humans and their furry companions! This properly designed bus is perfect for long-term off-grid living, with plenty of power, water, and, ahem, “facilities” to cover all your needs. My husband and I used this bus to explore various destinations and we’ve finally chosen a place to settle down, so it is time to pass this gem on to
its next owner.

Measuring 24 feet in length, with an additional 4-foot rear deck, the bus is well suited for off-pavement adventures and visiting national parks with length restrictions.

Background:
The bus began its journey as a school bus in Florida. We took over the conversion project from its second owner, who started the process during covid but couldn’t finish it. We completed the conversion, making a number of livability and mechanical upgrades. This bus is now very solid and ready to provide comfort and adventure to its new owner.

– 65 MPH Max speed (Governed at this speed)
– Titled/Registered as a RV

We’ve driven it over 4,000 miles and it has served us well. We used an independent mechanic
in Grand Junction, CO for service.

– Electricity: Simple, safe, and expandable. Includes ~1,400W Rigid Solar Panels, PowMr 48 volt 3500 watt hybrid inverter and 15,000 watt hour lithium battery, outlets throughout. Ability to
connect shore power (Solar could be expanded with additional panels if needed)
– Fuel: 40lb under bus propane tank for cooking and hot water
– Interior Ceiling: 6 feet 4 inches at the center of the bus, finished with T&G
– Windows: Tinted original glass, no leaks (360 degree views are incredible!). Light filtering cellular shades in living area, blackout shades and privacy film in sleeping area
