First time listing the bus for sale! I bought it in March 2021 from someone who had done the conversion DIY. I finished up a few things and kept it low-tech except for the electric – foot pump for the sink, bucket for composting toilet, no shower, twin sized bed. 8 batteries running parallel with inverter, running solar power to 3 sets of outlets on the kitchen counter. Comes with fridge, poly-sealed countertop, cabinet space, sink setup, curtains and wire to clip them to, toilet seat and wooden cover box, original cabbage art painted onto the electric cover box, stereo and subwoofer. Storage underneath and around the edges of the bed, above dashboard, and under kitchen counter.
With regards to the vehicle, everything works, including the wheelchair lift. Got the green light from the shop – all lights working, recently had oil changed, no pending issues. Extenders for tire valve stems for easy checking and filling. Very powerful air conditioning unit that runs off the bus and not off the solar system. Gasoline engine, gets about 9.5 mpg on the highway. About 25′ long and 11′ high.
Caveat: the batteries, inverter, and wiring added on by the previous owner were done DIY. The solar panel was installed by a professional. I used this bus for a year and never had any dangerous occurrences, but any prospective buyer must accept this risk! Don’t get water anywhere near the batteries! Do not allow the batteries to drain, or they will lose their capacity. When stored, keep the bus parked where it can get sunlight. If you run the fridge all the time when many consecutive days are not sunny, you will have limited electricity for other needs. The batteries can be topped off with a trickle charger that will be included.
I’ll update the listing with odometer reading, engine type, and more pics soon!
