1996 Provost Le Mirage Charter Bus (Finished Skoolie)

This is a must see Custom built 1996 Prevost. It was previously used as a charter bus and was converted into an RV. We purchase it in May of 2020, converted it, and started living in it full time October 2020. Our family is growing and it is time for us to grow in space. We loved every minute of living in this bus.

When building the interior of the bus and putting all the pieces together I built it as if I was building a house, I have a background in construction for over twenty years and was a licensed general contractor.

I used spray foam insulation on the walls and the roof. I installed heated floors through out the entire length of the main walkway. The water system is complete with Pex tubing throughout as well as an electric on demand water heater.

The kitchen is the main attraction with a ton of storage. The cabinets are not cheap ones you can buy at your hardware store. They are built to last. On top of those cabinets is a beautiful slab of granite and a tiled backsplash. The kitchen comes complete with an Induction 4 burner stove as well as a FULL SIZE residential fridge.

There is tongue and groove Cedar planking on the ceiling with inset LED lighting. You will also find two Marine hatches that let in ample sunlight.

I have installed a 65″ Samsung Smart TV that tucks away behind the front bench so it will not block the view out of the windows if you are parked in a scenic area.

In the bathroom is a walk through shower to a sink and a composing toilet. Under the bunk you will find four large drawers as well a washer dryer combo.

As you walk outside there is a fresh coat of paint from June of 2021 done by a professional auto shop.

There are two pass through luggage bays for storage as well as one pass though bay that is used to hold a 100 gallon fresh water tank and a 100 gallon grey water tank.

The On demand water heater and a storage area for tools is also located in this bay. Under the tanks I installed in floor heat to make sure the water does not freeze in cold climates.

In the back you will find the motor this motor does have some miles on it. I was told that is was rebuilt around 600,000 miles so it only has 164,000 ish miles on the rebuild. These motors are build to travel over 1 million miles.

As it was a commercial vehicle there has been regular maintenance done on the motor. It has an Iowa title registered as a Motorhome.
