1998 Bluebird Activity Type School Bus

Update #3: 3-8-24, *Sale Pending* Hold payment has been received and their flight tickets are booked.

Update#2: 2-20-24, visual engine inspection complete. Mechanics info was all good news.

Update #1 on 2-5-2024:

*I called in and used the transmission serial number and the Model of the transmission is an MT643!  *Also, I have had a chance to get more photos of the inside. Additional photos of inside, engine, outside can be emailed.                                                                                                                                 *Interior height is 76″.  Inside floor space available from back of drivers seat all the way to the rear engine wall is 31’2″

Hello!!!  I bought this bus from a West Texas school district in August of 2021.  I purchased it to use as storage for my toys, tools and building supplies for my first bus build. I intended to build this bus out as well, but…. I am moving on to another simple living plan and I do not need it for storage either!

The transmission is an Allison automatic transmission. Model is an MT643

This bus is titled and tagged as an RV. It is a Kansas Title/tag.

All of the seats are removed and most of the overhead storage bins are removed.

I did not disconnect the Air conditioners. The air conditioners run COLD and will freeze you out!!!

There is so much space in the belly of this bus!  Lots of storage!!!  All the doors open and close nicely!  I replaced the pistons that hold the doors open on two doors. The other two hold the doors open in the warmer temperatures.

When I purchased the bus in August ’21, the tires were new!!!  I have driven it less than 1,000 miles. So they are still like new!

This has an emergency exit door on the drivers side, about mid way down the bus.

I have an inside photo, but I am having trouble getting it resized so it will upload. I will try again on the inside photo! (Computers/technology is NOT my thing!!)

I am very sorry about not having all the different angles of photos for the initial listing…. I just want to get the listing started today as I had time after work at the computer to get it started! More photos soon!
