2001 E450 7.3l Diesel Shuttle Bus Partial Conversion

UPDATE: My wife and I are leaving the country soon and need to sell this bus in the next week. We are dropping the price out of a desire to get it sold. Also, there are two batteries in this bus, the auxiliary battery needs to be replaced–this is an old bus and although I’ve done plenty of work on it there is still more to do! This price is as is. This is a great bus! I originally bought this shuttle bus to build it into a mobile home for my wife and I. Sadly, I am having to drop the project as we are moving overseas.

This bus drives very well. I have put a couple thousand miles on it since I’ve owned it. The 7.3l engine is famous for being “bullet proof” and running up to 500,00+ miles. The tires were all replaced when I bought the bus and are in fantastic condition! The main battery is new the auxiliary battery needs to be replaced. (Records included).

The floor was rotted through when I bought it so I ripped it down to the frame and rebuilt the floor and subfloor weather proofing the bottom. The body of this bus is fiberglass so to support the walls and ceiling I installed 6 4×4 posts as a frame. The whole bus is insulated–floor, walls, and ceiling–mostly with 1inch thick foam board insulation. The skylight is plexiglass–which means that it is flexible and strong. Natural light was a very important part of this bus for my wife and I and you will get to enjoy looking at the stars at night and getting the sunlight during the day. There is no leaking anywhere in this bus.

All of the heavy lifting of gutting and building up the frame of this bus is done! It is a clean slate to customize to your specific needs.
