Versatile skoolie conversion built in 2022. This is our second build, and after living in a van/bus for two years, we have really figured out what things are important for life on the road. We made sure to include all the conveniences that are important for both living and maintenance.
Texas bus with NO rust has been treated primed and painted to create an extremely solid foundation. This bus has the holy grail engine/ transmission combination (DT466 with Allison transmission) and runs extremely well with zero problem. It even has cruise control! We’ve driven it across the country twice, so we know this thing is super solid and worry free!
The open layout creates a very spacious feel and is designed with function in mind.
This build has plenty of food, clothing, and garage storage. There is almost 16 feet of counter space, so cooking, working, and playing games are always easy!
Couch/ futon and our 4 chairs make it easy to host friends for a game night or a long weekend!
Roof deck is the full length of the roof which leads to some amazing sunset watching.
Rear deck is currently set up to transport a motorcycle but could be adapted to a flat platform if you don’t have a motorcycle! Plenty strong enough to hold a few hundred pounds as you’d drive the country! This rear deck could also be removed completely if it’s not for you!
Most furniture/components in the bus could be easily removed if you ever decide to adjust the layout a bit. (Couch/futon, sit/stand desk, kitchen table & chairs, rear deck, kitchen pantry).
Interior height is about 74″ so plenty of headroom!
Check out our full bus tour on Youtube for more details! We also have our entire build documented on youtube so you can see all the hard work put into this build. (@AcrovanAdventures)
