This bus known as ‘the wanderer’ is for sale.  It is a fully off-grid bus.  1600 watts of solar panels, and 3000 watt inverter, 60amp MPPT charge controller, 2 Renogy 200ah batteries, (will have 4 total in the next few weeks).  There’s 100 gallon fresh and grey tanks in the ‘utility’ bin.  The middle under-bus bin is a bedroom.  It could fit a queen-size mattress but currently has a twin.  This bin is accessible from the outside or inside of the bus through a drop-down hatch through the floor under the counter.  There’s a propane stove/oven and water heater, and spare propane tank holder.  Expansion tank for water so the water pump doesn’t have to run until every 5-6 gallons used.  The bus has 2 bunks and a back bedroom that converts to an office with 2 monitor arms and desk.  (not in the pictures).  The two couch benches pull out to make a large bed or 1 smaller bed.  Behind one couch is a swing up large dinner table.  Great for board games and meals.  The full-size fridge is amazing for stocking a weeks worth of provisions.   The pellet stove runs 24 hours on one bag of pellets and does well to heat the whole main floor of the bus with a non-humid heat.  The toilet is a composting Sun-mar toilet and has been amazing.  The shower is a livestock pan and ribbed galvanized steel.  The bus recently had the shocks and ABS and Brakes ALL redone.  6 of the 8 wheels are in great shape-80-100% tread with the two fronts at about 45% tread.   Full size spare included.  Many living provisions included, like many kitchen items.

The current downside to this bus is the climate control while the bus is running doesn’t currently work, but it’s getting a mini-split installed in the next few weeks.  The air conditioner will run when plugged into ‘shore-power’ but not on the solar power.  It also would improve the bus greatly to add a reverse osmosis system or filtration system, but we’ve always just bought and filled gallon jugs to keep in many of the storage areas for drinking and cooking.

This bus sleeps my family of 5 perfectly and could manage 6-8.  The toilet is rated for full time use for a family of 4, so we just use it as rarely as possible.

Asking $125,000, but Reasonable offers welcome.  I can deliver the bus depending on location.  It calls ‘Home’ west Michigan, but it’s all over the country depending on time of year.   This bus can’t compare to a normal Skoolie as it has so much higher quality to the frame and storage options.

Runs great, and make life on the road incredibly luxurious.  Hoping to find a full time nomad family for this bus.  It’s made travel so comfortable, with a ‘home on wheels’.

With housing costs on the rise, this bus would be a fantastic first home to a couple needing a first home, or a small family looking for a traveling lifestyle.
