2004 Thomas Cat C7 Flat Nose Finished Skoolie
This 2004 Thomas Built Bus has NO mechanical issues. It was purchased in 2021 in South Carolina from a dealer. Was previously owned by a church group. At 27 feet long, it fits in a standard driveway and NO CDL REQUIRED to drive!
We – petite couple with 5 cats – have driven this skoolie from NC to FL and then all around Central Florida before boondocking for the last 9 months. We’ve loved traveling in this mid-sized skoolie with all of the comforts of home. Check out the brochure and read below.
Electrical System:
- 1000W solar;
- 150A Solar charge controller;
- 3000W Renogy Inverter;
- 50A Shore power hookup (marine grade);
- automatic transfer switch;
- battery shut off switch;
- Progressive Dynamics AC/DC Power Center w/battery charge wizard;
- 400A AGM batteries (can upgrade to lithium)
Heating/Cooling:
13,500 BTU Houghton rooftop air conditioner w/black cover. The closet doors divides the bus into two sections, allowing cool air to flow in both directions. The bedroom gets VERY chilly, so we couldn’t be happier with this A/C in the Florida sun! Without reflective insulation on the windows, the A/C would have to run more often and the living/kitchen area would be noticeably warmer than the bedroom. Since we live in Florida, we did not install the mini wood stove for heating. However, all of the parts are below the bed for easy installation.
Plumbing System:
Although there is no water running, the bus has been outfitted for a full scale plumbing system. PEX tubing (1/2″ red-hot/blue-cold) runs along the lower sides of the bus to the shower, sink, & toilet.
- 100 Gal fresh water tank below the bed
- 100 Gal grey water tank mounted beneath the bus
- Parts: Accumulator, Shurflo water pump, filtration system, all gauges
- CAMPLUX Tankless Water heater mounted beneath the bus
