40 ft Thomas built Skoolie – $9,000 OBO

Lived in for a year with 2 people and a dog and it was a fantastic home!

The first walk in room offers the couch and 55 inch tv connected to the kitchen with a full fridge and full size stovetop/oven and sink. Lots of cabinets and space for storage. Oven is converted to propane with tank under the sink.

This room also holds all electrical behind the drivers seat and under the tv. 3000 watt inverter, 60 amp solar charge controller, 3-200 amp hour batteries, 12 v breaker box, 110 v breaker switches, and an automatic transfer switch for plugging into shore power. 6 – 100 w solar panels on the roof. Back up camera is connected and working.
45 gallon fresh water tank under the couch connected to the water pump for the sink in kitchen, bathroom, and shower.
Bathroom is waterproofed and sealed concrete. Includes compost toilet and on-demand water heater fueled by propane.

Bedroom has tons of storage room, AC unit, California-king tempurpedic bed, smaller tv on a movable mount. XL dog kennel underneath the bed. More storage accessible under bed from the back door.

The 4 rear tires are brand new, front 2 will need replaced sooner than later.

New bus battery that’s been kept on tender, plenty of cranking power for the bus.

Everything was completed by us, no professional work involved.

The bad: Starter is bad but does start by arcing the starter when key is on.
Some painting on the inside is unfinished. One wall near the entrance is unfinished.
Rear lights/ signals stopped working near the end of our journey. We would have the car in the back to signal turns and braking without any issues.
Shower isn’t piped into grey water tank, just runs to the ground.

Both Maxxair fans have slowed to a stop. They will start with a push but not full power.

Comes with all tools used to complete the build, kerosene heater, generator.
