Hello and thank you for checking out my listing for this 2006 Freightliner MB55 Goshen Coach. Let’s start with the reason for selling this amazing platform. I embarked on making my skoolie dream into reality and after roughly a year of researching and searching for the right platform I found this bus and purchased it in March ’22 out of Dallas, TX. From there some repairs were made at a local diesel shop for coolant/transmission fluids mixing in the radiator and the system was flushed. Then I drove it the 1,700 miles home to Reno, NV without issue averaging 10mpg with the 5.9L 24V Cummins. Once home, I turned it over to the Cummins Service shop for a thorough inspection and repair list since this vehicle has so little miles and its been sitting in a City maintenance yard for 16 years. Long story short, life has given me “lemons” over the last few months and I need to sell this dream to cover the cost of what life has dealt. Below is a list of the Good and the Bad for you to determine if this wonderful vehicle is for you.

The Good:

Clean Title

CLASS C !!!! That’s right, at a GVW of 25500lbs and hydraulic brakes with air parking/emergency, this bus requires no special drivers license.

Fleet maintained by City of Grand Prairie

Cummins Service Center inspected and passed

35000 miles , that’s it, seriously, used as a tour bus for the senior living center of Grand Prairie, TX

All new Air Ride suspension components installed by Cummins

Solid Allison 2000 series automatic transmission with cruise control!

Most of the seats have been removed already. Currently a 4 seater. Previously a 26 passenger.

Hydraulic lift in the right rear with an 800lb capacity. Yes, it does function perfectly.

I did drive this bus 1700 miles in  28 hours without fail through some pretty crazy weather.

The Bad:

Windshield has several leaks At highway speeds around the left side, needs a new seal. Quoted $300 for replacement of the seal. Glass is fine.

Several spots on the fiberglass along the right roof line could use some attention, doesn’t appear to be leaking. I have a Raptor Liner fiberglass repair kit included with the sale that should cover most if not all of the questionable areas.

Appears to be some rusty areas in the walls but not the undercarriage or drivetrain.

This is a 16 year old bus, there’s bound to be unforeseen things I have yet to find.

MORE PICS UPON REQUEST.
