2008 Chevrolet 5 window midbus 6.6L Duramax

Partially converted. Definitely livable. Needs some finishing touches like paint, propane lines need finishing, interior trim needs some fit and finish

2008 6.6L Duramax Diesel 11700 miles, No DEF req. Maintained regularly. Radiator flushed and fresh coolant added, new sumo springs at 105,000 miles. Rear axle/driveshaft seal replaced at 110,000 miles. Transmission rebuilt and transmission coolant lines replaced in 2024/116,000 miles- 3 year GM warranty. 6 new Firestone Transforce AT tires in 2022, less than 2000 miles on them. Vehicle AC doesn’t work but the heat works great. I suspect when the bus company removed the radio/CB, they probably cut the wires that controlled the AC compressor, I just never took the time to try and figure it out. No Cruise Control, no radio. Backup camera installed. Avg. 20mpg on the highway when doing 60-65 mph. Frame welded trailer hitch installed by the machine shop. Just a drivers seat, you would need to install passenger seats with seatbelts if you want any passengers to be legal. Minimal rust, only noticeable spot is under the rear passenger side window

Cabin: Lots of decorative wood paneling, south west/ Sedona color scheme. Bed Area fits a Queen mattress (memory foam mattress included). Shower is perfect for someone 5’10 or shorter, anyone taller will have to crouch. Lots of storage. RMax Insulated roof and sides. double sided reflectix/thinsulate window covers do a great job reflecting sun when it’s hot and keeping heat in when it’s cold. 3x Renogy Deep Cycle 100aH AGM Batteries, Renogy DC charge controller (allows trickle charging from the alternator/solar), Renogy 2000W 12v DC to 120v AC inverter, monitor, WFCO AC/DC power center, cutoff switches to isolate/shut off power. 4x AC outlets (on shore power.) DC LED lighting, Maxxair Fan, ducted Suburban Propane furnace heat, Fogatti propane hot water heater, iceco dual zone chest freezer/refrigerator, 3 stage water filter (kitchen sink only), 15gal grey/30gal fresh water tanks, 3.2gpm pump, shurflo accumulator. Propane/LPG 2 burner cooktop. Hammered copper sink. Vinyl flooring. Lots of 5v DC USB outlets. Butcher’s block countertop.  Oak Bench seating with cushions, telescoping table mount can convert to a cot for an additional sleeping spot.

I lived in this bus for a year and it was a dream, it’s just a tad small for a family, 2 dogs and a cat.
