1994 Navistar Internation 3800 Diesel - Partial Conversion

1994 AmTran 37′ foot school bus in good shape, partially converted bus runs smoothly!  224,000 miles.

Completed Work:
– Completely gutted the interior
– Treated minor rust on floor pan & sealed with Chassis Saver paint – Installed rigid foam insulation on floor and high quality Advantech subfloor plywood
– Cut out a custom hatch in floor for a diesel heater system to be tapped into fuel tank under bus
– Removed all the old stock windows, installed new sheet metal in place of the windows for new RV windows
– Fabricated custom front door with a high quality pin pad lock system and key fob.
– On the roof I have installed custom made roof hatch install frames built by skoolie.com and installed yacht quality marine deck hatches.
– Complete floor plan drawn up (see last photo)
– Replaced the front upper flasher lights with LED conversion kit built by skoolie.com.
– Prep work to the exterior body such as sanding and fixing a couple small dents, so the bus is nearly ready to be painted – Brand new batteries for vehicle
– 3 of 10 new RV windows are installed (I will be installing the remaining 7 soon)

Purchased & Ready To Be Installed:
– 10 brand new custom RV windows by Motion Windows ~$5,5000 (dual pane, sliders, built in screens, weatherproof, tint, 3 of 10 installed already)
– New brake lights for rear – IronRidge XR1000 solar racking rails for the entire length of the roof
– making solar or roof deck install super easy and pro! – All the materials needed to coat the roof and seal roof seams. – Wheel covers to protect the wheels.
– PulseTech military grade small solar panel to maintain vehicle batteries
– 2 matching lock systems for the side and rear door, so all three door locks will be keyed alike.

Most of the tough work has been done so far, and it’s starting to get to the more fun parts. I have put in a lot of time and about $20,000, but unfortunately I can not keep pushing on, and I’m ready to pass this project on and take a loss. My loss is your gain here. I just want to stoke somebody out and be done with it.
