The Ford F550 chassis is powered by the reliable 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine with very low miles (85,000), regular and recent maintenance with receipts available including: oil changes every 5,000 miles, new glow plugs and valve cover gaskets this Summer, new tires & batteries in 2018, and more. Last mechanical inspection early June of 2022. Titled, registered and insured as an RV in SD through July 2023.
Selling to downsize and move on to the next project, I’ll be sad to see it go but hope someone else can enjoy it’s future full of great adventures!
This shuttle bus worked at a Hotel in NYC prior to the conversion to a camper. I’ve worked on the conversion for nearly three years, and I’ve loved taking the camper on roadtrips across the US and back. I designed the conversion with sustainability in mind – no propane system, reclaimed cedar, composting toilet, and a large solar array & battery capacity to power all cooking & electrical needs (they could easily power an additional AC unit if you travel somewhere hot!).
