So far I have gutted it and sealed/rust treated, did a roof raise, built a steel rack rooftop deck (7×14’), had it professionally spray foamed, put in new subfloors (insulated), replaced windows with RV windows, replaced signal lights with new LEDs, I’ve built a king bed frame, closet and framed in the bathroom area so far. The rest of the bus is framed and ready to go.
It will also come with solar components (Details below), 2×100 gallon water tanks, and any bits such as the plywood, tongue and groove wood paneling and some steel for fabrication of the solar mounts.
The bus runs fine, I replaced both starter batteries a couple of months ago. Sitting at around 100,000 miles. The undercarriage is in great shape. It’s not registered yet, as, I was waiting to register it as an RV and it’s also not insured bc I haven’t been driving it during the conversion. The only other thing that may come up is new tires over the next few years but the current ones are still good.
My guess is that it’ll take $10k more to finish out, it needs electrical, a/c, plumbing, and the rest of the build-out.
Additional solar info:
It’ll come with a 100amp Renogy charge controller, an 3000-4000 watt inverter/charger, and 1280 watts of Renogy solar (4- 320watt panels) with mounting brackets. It’ll also come with the shore power connection and an outdoor shower hookup as well as a 12v water pump, they just need to be installed.
Will negotiate, but I feel the price is fair with everything included. More photos and information are available upon request.
