We absolutely love our custom built skoolie. This is our first home together, and it was not an easy decision to decide to place this ad on the market. As we have come to find, over the last 4 years, there are many many roads out there, and so many we have yet to explore. Unfortunately, it might be time to turn over the keys to someone who desires to explore the many roads we have, while we explore some new ones that lie ahead in our lives. The choice to list was simply out of love.
We love our bus so much, we do not want to see it sit and deteriorate. We love our bus so much, we would rather see her on the road exploring the world and taking a loving family on an amazing journey to see and experience the amazing culture that is BusLife. It would be too selfish to keep her parked just so we can take her out from time to time. She loves to go! That being said, we never named her. She is yours for the naming! Mechanics:
-All New Tires purchased in 2021
-Coolant reservoir sight glass has leak when running hot.
-Air compressor valve needs replaced
-Engine (5.9L Cummins) and transmission (Allison MD3060) run beautifully!
– Brakes/shocks recently checked out as good!
Interior:
-Chalk board wall by the steps

-Two ceiling hooks for chair hammock (one of my favorite parts!)

-Wood burning fire place (Cubic Mini Cub stove with a Tiny Wood Stoves flue system)
-Hearth is built with double layers of backer board and a custom heat shield on the stove. Never have had problems with heat or burning. Just don’t forget to move the curtain!

Extras:

-We had our Cha-Weenie inside and all over- so definitely dog friendly!
-Be mindful of temperature. All of our waterlines are outside and subject to freezing temps, but finding leaks is very easy! (We haven’t had any yet! Yay!)
-All windows go down EXCEPT 3rd window on the right. It goes down- but you’ll have a fun time getting it back up!
-Lots of room for your homey-touches and changes. Room for making it as comfortable for you as it was for us.
