2001 International Bluebird T3800 Handy Bus (6-Window Shorty)

Rare larger shorty/small mid-size diesel school bus! 2001 International Bluebird Handy Bus with a T444E engine and approx. 97,000 miles.

6 windows; 24’ total length. Built to transport wheelchairs, so there are no wheel wells or seats. Decommissioned from an Austin, TX school district, purchased in that area in August and driven to Southern Arizona. The bus was fully inspected/blessed by a certified diesel mechanic when purchased, then put to the test over 800+ miles. Can provide all of that information.

Started demo work to strip the interior for conversion into an RV, but life has changed, and we’re not going to be able to finish her out. Also have a set of cabinets available we can throw into the sale for your build.

Back AC units worked when last turned on, though they’ve been partially stripped. Front AC isn’t currently working, but our inspector felt that it could be repaired.
