Description

The bus:

Perfect clean slate 40โ€ฒ bus right at the stage where the fun personalization starts. Selling because my lifestyle changed and I need something smaller and more urban friendly at the moment, Iโ€™m looking to do a shorty instead. The bus is from iconic AAA bus sales in Phoenix AZ from Tony, worked on by some also iconic people such as Wess Lewis aka Transcend existence and Brad Knott from Crown and around with all the roof raise and metal work, Chuck Cassady and Nomadic Alfo with the diesel heater tapping into the tank plus yours truly with the demo and other installs. Phoenix Arizona dry climate bus=no rust, Pre emissions stuff and not much computers. 2001 Thomas Saf t-liner er MVP high top โ€œ40 footโ€ Cummins ISC 250 C.8.3E 24 valve Turbo Diesel, Allison MD3060 transmission. Already has California RV motorhome title/plates, 100gal fuel tank, Complete with 12 inch roof raise (90inches interior height)

Several hat channels cleared and reinforced with steel headers to accommodate 6 large picture windows throughout the bus in the future.
Huge double all through underbay storage.
Interior heater removed and line rerouted under the bus, stock bus AC dropped down into the bay storage (for future ducting into living space while driving). Flashers covered. 2 Galamarine hatches/skylights, 2 MaxxAir Deluxe fans with remote control for air exchange venting, one in the rear, one in front of the bus, 2 inch ngx foamular new floor insulation topped with 3/4 inch tongue and groove plywood floor, furring strips installed, engine bay insulated with heat and sound insulation mat, sturdy floating raised bed frame built over the engine bay to accommodate either king or queen size bed with additional space for storage, height accommodates the future fresh water tanks and water heater etc under bed, Wheel wells framed and covered, treated furring strips and bed platform with Juniper infused Vermont natural waterproofing coating and Caliwel anti microbial/antifungal coating,

Lavaner alpine pro 5kw diesel heater (automatic altitude adjustment) installed and tapped into the busโ€™ own diesel tank Marineco 30amp stainless steel shore power inlet installed, 1 external outlet installed,

Ancore marine electrical wires installed if you stay close to the current floorplan then about ready for spray foam. 4 piece camera system the backup camera is installed and wired and functioning, youโ€™ll have to install the side and front view as needed.

(Space on roof accommodates 6 large solar panels capable of 2700+watts of solar or more if you decide to not keep the skylights.)

Cons: 1 row of rivets around the bus need to be sealed with sikaflex, recommend to reseal skylights with butyl tape and sikaflex before sprayfoam, and remove some redundant silicone sealant on roof seams. Last I was told the tires are still in fair condition but they are definitely getting senior. Thereโ€™s a hairline crack in the Bondo where I covered the flashers so you might just wanna cover it with a plate or add more filler for a nice flush look I was going for.

Itemized list of what went into the build:
