Short (25ft) Freightliner/Thomas C2 Bus.

Bus has been used as a work bus for our construction business, and a few camping road trips.Very versatile in its current configuration with modern passenger safety seats.. Tons of fun to drive!

SPECS

Detroit/MBE 926 series diesel motor. 7.2 liter displacement set at 178HP and with up to 350HP rated. + AT 2000 transmission. HP output and transmission power can be adjusted for higher output and speed if desired. Tons of power while driving. Accelerates and holds 60MPH+ set cruise speed, even on moderate uphill highway. Never had  overheating or engine hot warning lights. Runs very cool compared to our other IC buses, even in desert driving environments.
Air ride. Air driver’s seat. Air door. Air brakes. GVWR is <25,000lbs. No CDL required. Front and rear heating. No AC, but a new heat-pump cab AC unit conveys with bus (needs install). Heated power exterior mirrors. Front and rear defrost work well + two ceiling driver’s fans.
On-Spot automatic tire chains system for icy road driving.
TRIM
All bus seats have been removed. New 2022 Ford Transit leather double seats with integrated shoulder seat belts are installed to the original seat anchor rails in a facing club configuration. Very comfortable for travel. Foam sub-floor makes for a quiet ride. Hardwood sealed flooring makes installing work, or RV type equipment easy. 5 windows on the driver’s side of bus. 4 windows on the passenger side of bus + wheelchair door (wheelchair lift removed). Exterior is primed and prepped for a custom paint job. No major dents or damaged on bus.

CONDITION

Very clean bus. Little to no rust anywhere. All main hardware is in fully operational condition. Excellent maintenance with many recently serviced/replaced items worth thousands of dollars $. > Almost new tires. New front brakes. New steering column and linkages. New wheel hub seals. New air system valves. New fuel, oil, and air filters. Turbo and DPF cleaned. All injectors are clean. An engine block heater is available, but we have never needed to use it, as the bus starts easily even at 20F temperatures.
To-do list I haven’t gotten to yet:
– Replace cassette type window seals (two of them leak a tiny bit) = 5 hours of do-it-yourself labor + $100 in vinyl RV window sealant.
– Remove and tighten the wheelchair door latch = 1hr of do-it-yourself labor. No parts needed. A new latch would be $120.
– Remove air doors and replace lower hing blocks = 2hr of do-it-yourself-labor + $120 parts.
– Fix underbelly storage box lock. The key mechanism failed and can’t open. Locksmith labor = 1hr.
One of the cleanest and best running buses you will find anywhere.
