Description
Sad to post this gem but unfortunately I have to part ways before June 1st so I can move away from home and start my new chapter with life in Florida. This project canโt join me because of many reason, mostly because I wonโt have anywhere to park it or work on it in Florida and I wonโt be able to leave it where it now because I agreed to have it relocated by the time I move away. Beside from my sob story, the bus is genuinely perfect for a conversion and has already been started and will even come with a 8×4 subfloor panel to finish up the floor and (3) 1 and 1/4 inch premium plywood panels also 8×4 to get started on miscellaneous parts of the conversion like the bed frame, counters, and couch. The big issue here is the obvious rust on the back wall by the door and on the right inside wall as well as the left wall and parts of the metal interior frame as shown in the pictures. Any possible entrance points for water or moisture have already been located and sealed to prevent any future rusting. Unfortunately, everything ย rust wise was planned to be repaired with sheet metal and some welding which was looking to cost me around 400$, but with how little time I have to find a new home for this home on wheels iโve decided not to continue with the repairs and save myself some time and effort that I can use to search for a motivated buyer willing to put the work in to turn this bus into perfection. Other than what you see in the pictures, the undercarriage has minimal surface rust that didnโt concern me all to much, sanding/grinding and recoating would be ideal but the overall heath of the undercarriage isnโt going to be an obstacle for the next owner. The wheelchair lift has been completely removed which tends to be a big struggle for most doing a shuttle bus build. Mechanically the bus is bulletproof and in peek condition for having lower miles on this 7.3L v8 gas motor, also iโve had two local mechanics and a ford dealership look over the bus for me and confirm that it was in really good shape and shouldnโt give me any problems as long as it got regularly checked over and maintained just like any other shuttle bus out there. The potential for this build is endless and wouldnโt disappoint so reach out and see what kind of deal we can work out because I can assure you the price is negotiable and I am a very motivated seller!
