1992 Blue Bird Bus Low Mileage Conversion

Partially finished skoolie. Most of the hard work is done. Seats are out, the sub floor was repaired and painted with rust0lium to prevent rust. the entire floor is a floating plywood floor so it does well moving with the bus when being driven. The sub floor is totally finished, but I added photos of the process we went through. it is insulated and works well to keep the heat in or the heat out.

The bedroom is a full sized bed frame. The whole frame lifts on hinges so it has a lot of room for storage or to add a water tank. There is a small closet for clothing as well.

The kitchen comes with a fridge, gas stove/oven combo, large sink that is connected to an instahot tankless heater. It has a water hook up to a hose on the outside of the bus. There is also a small pantry next to the fridge, and floating shelves along the kitchen counters.

The living area has couches that have removable panels for more storage and there is a place of a small table across from it.

The fireplace does an amazing job heating the entire bus, and has a flat top that is great for cooking on or putting racks over to dry clothes. Around it is insulated and rated for fires.

There are also two bunks that can be used as storage or kid beds. or you could use the space to add a bathroom.

The bus has a small breaker box in the back and there are electrical outlets and light switches that were installed by a licensed electrician.

It runs well but may need a new battery. If it sits for a period of time it needs to be put on a trickle charger or jumped.

Our family out grew it which is why we never finished it. It could use paint and flooring but it is totally livable. We lived on it for two years.
