Selling our 40ft fully converted Thomas-Built Skoolie. It has a cummins 5.9 engine and an Allison transmission (not sure what model the transmission is). It starts up right away and runs great. It has been functioning as an AirBnb for the last few years so it hasn’t been driven much but we start it periodically just to keep it fresh. Last time we took a trip (2 years ago) we had it fully inspected and serviced. We will have it inspected again before the sale to give you peace of mind.

Skoolie is fully licensed and registered in Washington State.

Odometer reads 40,000 miles but the reading on the wheel is 250,000 and I believe that the wheel is accurate. The dash must have reset somehow during the conversion.

Ceiling height is 6ft 4.5inches in the center and rounds off near the windows.

Inside: (starting from the back) we have a king sized Tuft and Needle bed with storage along the sides and underneath. The back window has a cushion on it for the little ones to relax (or wrestle). The bedroom has a Cubic Mini Stove and an AC Unit.

The bathroom has a 24×36 bathtub, a small sink and a natures head toilet with a modified pee diverter. The pee is diverted straight into the grey water tank so you don’t have to empty the bucket every couple days.

The kitchen has an under counter fridge and freezer, plywood counter tops, induction stovetop, sink and a microwave.

The front benches fold out to become basically a queen sized bed or can be used as two smaller twin sized beds. They are 6ft long so they work great for kids to sleep on.

Cedar ceiling throughout with rigid foam insulation in the ceiling and walls. No insulation in the floor to preserve headroom.

Bus is wired by a professional electrician with standard 110 power and a house panel. Right now we run 50amps from our house to power the bus. An inverter and a switch could be added to run off the batteries and make it fully off grid.

Under the bus:

We have a 33 gallon grey water tank, a 7 gallon electric tankless water heater and 4 deep cell batteries (bought them to install a solar system but never got to it).

No fresh water tank and no black water tank.

The house batteries have charger that can be plugged into 110 to keep them charged. They also charge off of a battery isolator while the engine is running. They could easily be hooked up to a solar system.

The engine runs great. We haven’t driven it in a while but we will get it inspected before the sale and make sure everything is good to go.

You can see the full conversion process on our YouTube Channel: @colaventures https://www.youtube.com/colaventures

There have been some leaks in the ceiling over the years but we have stayed on top of caulking them and are sealed up as far as we know.

If you are interested shoot me a message and we can schedule a time for you to tour. It is still listed on AirBnb so we’ll have to work around that. A test drive will be scheduled for serious buyers only. Delivery can be negotiated.
