2000 Chevy International Blue Bird Partial Conversion
We are selling our 2000 Chevy Blue Bird International with DT466E Engine and Allison Transmission. It is 37′ long & partially converted. We are selling ONLY due to engine repairs needing to be done (was told head gasket repair & quoted $8-10K & obviously cheaper if done yourself) & us currently being in a different state – this is reflected in list price.
Seats, stop sign, rear door buzzer, walls, ceiling, and floor have all been removed. Floor had minimal rust and was painted with Rust-oleum. Subfloor has been installed (3/4” Plywood). Heaters have been removed and hoses have been rerouted. Wheel well boxes have been insulated and boxes are built around them. All walls, ceiling, and floor have been insulated with 3/4” foam board insulation. Bus exterior paint is done with a white direct-to-metal (DTM) paint. Most of the cedar plank ceiling panels have been installed and the rest will be provided. Wall studs have been installed throughout the whole bus (can easily be removed if wanted). Solar panels are installed on roof. LED tail lights have been replaced. Back door and front door locks have been installed.
***Bus is currently registered as an RV with Vermont plates through 04/23 and a clean title!
A LOT of time and money has went into our bus & we are sad to sell. Our bus would be perfect for someone who doesn’t mind putting a little money into the engine in exchange for minimal time & money put into finishing the build & making it your own. IF you don’t want to repair engine – this is a GREAT deal for a stationary rental/airbnb.
