2000 GMC Bluebird LP Engine
This gem was manufactured from the factory to run on PROPANE and has only 26,105 miles!!!
Runs like a sewing machine, it was maintained in a fleet by the county of Sacramento for it’s entire life. Absolutely nothing wrong mechanically or chassis wise. Quiet motor. I’ve never seen a bus with this low miles and I have built a few and seen hundreds.
Here’s what I’ve done to it:
-Gutted it completely
-Re-sealed all windows inside and out
-Cleaned, sealed and painted the metal floor
-Installed insulation and 5/8″ tongue and groove plywood sub floors
-Framed and insulated walls with denim and smart vapor barrier
-Framed and insulated ceiling with cera-tex
-Cleaned water stains and polished and tinted the windows
-Framed and faced the fender wells with plywood
It’s at the perfect stage to start framing your own design.
Absolutely NO RUST. It spent it’s life in Sacramento and the chassis is immaculate.
Beefy tires with lots of tread and no dry cracking
Included with the bus:
-2 beautiful slabs of Sequoia wood for counters
-Hardware pulled from the demo
-Extra wood, insulation, adhesives and misc. building materials.
I am a builder and put a couple hundred hours into it, it was going to be my personal home on wheels. My previous partner and I went in on it together and planned to live in it. Life changed and we are no longer together. I must let it go and build a new future. It was a hard decision to let it go but here it is.
I will deliver it within 1000 miles of where it’s parked in northern California, will consider further than that.
Will consider partial trade for a nice 4wd truck or van.
I accept crypto currency, cash and ACH.
