2001 Bluebird All American Gutted
Wanting to sell my school bus, I started the conversion, but not a lot has been done.
I removed all the seats, removed the under seat heaters, connected the heater lines, bypassing those heaters, as to maintain, defrost and heat at the driver area. replaced a small damaged area of the plywood floor at the back, I have purchased some of the conversion supplies., Which will go with the bus.
I have purchased the pex tubing, and shark bite connectors, a 200 gallon freshwater storage tank, some miscellaneous lumber I planned to use as framing, also a Tempur-pedic adjustable bed and mattress I had planned to use.
I have recently moved, I have no area to store and work on bus at my new home, will be too difficult to work on a project offsite. Thinking I will look into buying a finished Skoolie.
The bus runs great, it has good tires, it has an Allison, six speed automatic transmission with cruise control. The six speed needs to be unlocked. The bus has been well-maintained, in fact, it had been in service as a school bus the week prior to my purchase from a school district. I did replace the battery, this spring.
