2003 Bluebird Skoolie with Garage

A skoolie with a garage! She’s a 2003 30′ Blue Bird TC/2000 bus conversion packing a powerful combo of style and off-grid capabilities. Under the doghouse is a Cummins 5.9L diesel with 4th & 5th gear overdrive and a MD3060 Allison transmission. This is one of the most sought-after engine/transmission combos and a rare find in a midsize bus for it is typically found in full size buses.

The flat nose, short wheelbase (same as a pickup truck’s) and the side and reverse cameras make for an incredible turning radius and ease of driving. Before becoming a recreational vehicle, this bus was a fleet-maintained vehicle within the Phoenix, AZ school system. AKA well-loved and no rust.

The original bus was purchased from Tony at AAA Bus Sales (a true legend in the skoolie world) and was regularly serviced and maintained by them for three years before moving to Las Vegas where regular maintenance and service was done by Don’s DI diesel mechanics. The transmission was completely rebuilt in January 2025 and she has a clean bill of health!
