41ft CONVERTED OFF-GRID SCHOOL BUS

Traveling the country full-time, off-grid was the single greatest experience of my life that changed the trajectory of my life and I hope someone else gets to fulfill their owndream in this tiny home on wheels. I have a deep love and appreciation for the United States of America and staying on its incredible public lands felt like a life hack. We had all the amenities of a house while being completely immersed in nature. Our bus has been all over with tons of visits from friends and family. From the old-time Arizona towns of Apache Junction, Prescott, and Quartzite, to California’s iconic Pacific Coast Highway, to the giant sequoias and redwoods, to Yosemite, to Washington’s lush rain forest, to Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks, to summer on the Oregon coast where we picked berries and foraged for clams, and so much more in between. Ironically, we started our journey in Florida and this is where we’re ending it. I dedicated a huge part of my life to this bus and as much as it saddens me to let it go, I know that someone else is going to create a whole new story.

I bought this bus from a guy who bought them in bulk froman Anchorbay Michigan School auction. The bus was gutted down to the metal, sealed off and built completely custom from the ground up by yours truly. The floor is stud framed with 2.5” foam board and all the walls and ceiling are spray foam insulated. The outlets are wired like a house with a breaker box, with just a few RV electrical items (like LED puck lights) that are wired DC (RV electrical) to save power. If you have full sun during the day, the solar set up will run the air conditioner completely off of the panels all while keeping the batteries fully charged. And if its cold,we have a Mr. Buddy Propane heater that will keep youwarm. We are also including a 3500-watt generator! Every system you’re getting on this bus is created in the simplest, most effective way to make trouble shooting a lot less complicated than your standard RV.

Did an oil change 3,000 miles ago you have another 8,000 miles before changing again and a did a 30,000 mile DOT service everything is greased. If you know anything about Catepilar engines you know they last a VERY long time. The engine is a cat 3126E. E stands for electronic, in the rare case of a leak or an issue it’ll idle the engine low and prevent you from causing catastrophic damage to your engine. This is an awesome feature most of these buses are the cat 3126b or just 3126 and don’t have this feature and if you blew a leak and didn’t realize it’s a lot easier to blow up your engine. This bus is huge it was a 93 passenger public school bus meant to transport a ton of kids you can run this engine all day eryday!!! It’s meant for constant travel.  It’s in great condition barely been broken in a lot of torque and it’s all ready for your next adventure  :)
