Features include full kitchen, propane stove, 7-gal hot water heater, shower, compost toilet, flat screen TV, queen sized bed, fridge with freezer, LG clothes washer/dryer combo unit, air conditioner/heater, smoke detector, and a massive solar panel with battery array for complete off-grid living.

Every panel (to include the ceiling) was insulated with heavy-duty rockwool for great insulation. Custom hard-wood ceiling and engineered hardwood flooring finished out the build. The plumbing was done using PEX pipe and shark-bit connectors, making repair and updates simple to do. The entire electrical system was built with the help of an electrical engineer to ensure everything is wired and connected to code. Professional paint job by a commercial truck painting company.

The bus is a 2003 Thomas Saf-T-Liner with a Mercedes engine. We’ve taken it all over the country, from Virginia to the Rockies, down to the Grand Canyon, all the way up to Glacier, Montana – and back! Has only 160k miles but our mechanic states that this bus should last up to 500k. We recently replaced all the rear tires and the diesel turbo.
