2004 Freightliner Thomas School Bus

Originally purchased this bus from the School District of Kelowna, it was meticulously maintained until I bought it last year. the sticker still shows that the next inspection is due in September 2025.

I’ve completed a full professional-grade conversion—doing all the work myself, including insulation, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

It’s a 2004 Freightliner Thomas School bus with CAT C7 Diesel engine coupled with Allison transmission (if you did your research you know it’s reliable) I would not have invested so much without making sure. It is air brakes, they work great, no air leaks. Starts and runs well 305000km or 190000 Miles which is about half its lifespan with proper maintenance. I’ve traveled with this bus for 9 months, and now it’s time to return to Europe—so it’s ready for its next adventure. It would also be a great option for an Airbnb or to park on your land to live in.

• Most of the wood inside is red cedar, very mold resistant and a good insulation. And it smells very good.

• the bus is fully insulated and Vapor barrier has been installed everywhere except for the windows to prevent moisture to get into the walls or anywhere in general. I have put a lot of attention to make this bus livable and comfortable to live in and not just photogenic for instagram. It is very well designed inside and feels like small cabin.
